 As the last quarter of 2007 begins, we look back on a fulfilling and exciting year for Belmont Village and our residents. Our family of senior living communities continues to grow, providing more options than ever for older adults and their families. In May of this year, Belmont Village Crown Cove in Corona del Mar, California became our eighteenth operating community.
This warm and inviting senior living community situated on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean has been serving Orange County seniors and families for years, but will now do so under the stewardship of Belmont Village. Residents will continue to enjoy the wonderful, home-like atmosphere they’ve known and loved, but with the added benefits of Belmont’s signature programs, amenities and high operating standards. Enhancements include our industry-leading dining program featuring fresh, chef-prepared meals with over 24 daily choices, our Center for Life Enhancement professionally supervised onsite fitness center, our Center for Learning computer center with internet and e-mail access and our Circle of Friends memory enrichment program for residents with Mild Cognitive Impairment.
 Other developments in southern California include the beginning of two communities scheduled for completion in the first half of 2009.
In April 2007, we hosted a groundbreaking ceremony and reception to mark the start of construction on Belmont Village Westwood, our new, much-anticipated, Los Angeles-area community. More than 200 area residents and community leaders attended the event. In August, a similar ceremony was held a little farther south in the Greater San Diego area to herald the construction launch of Belmont Village Cardiff by the Sea.
 As with all Belmont Village designs, these two communities have been carefully planned to match the prevailing architectural styles of their surroundings. The results will be an elegant mid-rise on Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood and a naturally flowing building nestled into a hillside on Manchester Boulevard in Cardiff by the Sea. While different in appearance, these buildings will share the high standards and trademark programs of a Belmont Village community, and each will feature remarkable amenities, including a swimming pool, screening room, and fitness center.
