Belmont Village Quarterly Newsletter
on Senior Living
Welcome to Spring!

Ah, spring . . . winter melts away and we emerge into a season of beauty and renewal. In that spirit of rejuvenation, our articles this month focus on healthy living—physically, mentally and socially, and the direct benefits to making healthy lifestyle choices. These are things we spend a lot of time thinking about and pursuing at Belmont Village, both for our residents and for ourselves, and we want to share some of the information we’ve found with you.
We kick the issue off with a story about Older Americans month—a period of recognition for the valuable contributions and significant impact of older Americans and the importance of staying involved and leading a healthy lifestyle. Next we take a look at the increasing focus on brain health and what you can do to achieve and sustain it. We close with an article about stroke awareness and prevention, in recognition of National Stroke Awareness month in May.
In short, this issue of Belmont Village’s Cupola is about recognizing opportunities for better living and the importance of making positive choices in every aspect of our lives to achieve wellness and well-being. So go ahead—take on a new project, set new goals for fitness and personal enrichment, take that trip you’ve always dreamed of, use your knowledge and skills to help others—enjoying your life in these ways can add significantly to your overall health. If spring teaches us one thing, it’s that there is always room and time for growth.
Now is your time. Experience spring!
