Your Annual
Check-Up is Due!

It’s that time of year again — don’t miss your information check-up! The first of the year is a great time to notify key care and service providers of any contact information that has changed during the past 12 months. This could be very important in case of emergency to ensure that all records that pertain to your loved ones are up to date.

Be sure to update Belmont Village with any new contact information as soon as possible.  It’s also a good idea to update information with any the physicians or other outside services that may need to contact you on behalf of your loved ones.
Here are a few things you may want to consider as a part of your New Year updates:

  • Have you brought additional items that should be added to the list of personal possessions?

  • Has your family member’s address book been updated?

  • Does his or her telephone need to be reprogrammed with numbers that have changed?

  • Does any clothing need to be replaced or repaired?

  • With the colder weather, do your loved ones need heavier pants, a warm sweater, thicker socks, a blanket for the bed or a throw for the chair?

  • Is it time for a trip to the drug store for hand lotion and lip balm?

  • Is it time to update family photos to brighten a room?

  • When was the last time you took a book or puzzle to keep your loved one’s mind active?

These are just a few suggestions intended to help you make your family member more comfortable. If you have other suggestions, please let us know. We’re always happy to hear from family members and share information with others.

Happy New Year from Belmont Village!
