April 6 – Put Out the Welcome Mat for Backyard Birds with Jane Tillman
Jane Tillman is an active member of the Travis Audubon Society and a Capital Area Master Naturalist. She is a past-president of the Native Plant Society of Texas, Austin chapter.
April 13 – Crafts with Artist and Master Naturalist Barbara Attwell
Come craft with us! Is there anything sweeter than tiny bird eggs? We will be making miniature bird nests using felted wool eggs and large Burr Oak tree acorns that are locally gathered. To go along with the woodsy theme, we will also craft a small wreath by inserting rosemary and dried flowers into grapevine. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate spring.
April 27 – Butterflies with Valerie Bugh
Valerie is a naturalist specializing in arthropods. She runs the Fauna Project at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, and is the author of the illustrated fold-out guide Butterflies of Central Texas.
Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
RSVP to Concierge at 512-347-1700.
