Message from CEO Patricia Will on hurricane disaster response at Belmont Village

Dear Belmont Village Families and Friends,

The devastation that has occurred and continues from Harvey is without precedent. Our two Houston communities are blessed with extraordinary teams on-site who have been working around the clock since the storm hit. Both buildings held strong with no flooding or leaks.

Once the floods receded, we were able to take in seniors who have been evacuated from nearby homes. The Houston community rallied, and we were able to source bedding, food and all necessary supplies.

We are especially grateful for the magnificent Belmont teams, and our resilient residents, who are keeping it together with poise, grace, and humor.

Many of our corporate and community team members have been impacted directly by the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Your words of support mean a lot to all of us at a time like this.

We have activated our BV Cares program to help support our staff members affected by the floods. We are grateful for your phenomenal support. Already we are disbursing funds to needy staff. If you would like to contribute, please send a return pledge via email to: bvcares@belmontvillage.com or simply send a check to our Corporate Office (8554 Katy Freeway, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77024, attn: BVCares). The check can be written to Belmont Village, with Belmont Village Cares written in the caption. You can also donate online at: www.youcaring.com/BVCares. Our Company matches every contribution dollar for dollar.

My thoughts and prayers are with our Houston area friends who may have suffered losses during this storm, and I hope for a speedy recovery.

My best wishes to all,

Patricia G. Will
