Thursday • February 21, 2019
5:30 – 7:00 PM
Belmont Village Senior Living
500 McHenry Rd.
Buffalo Grove, IL 60089
SPEAKER: Martha Kern, Chief Marketing Officer for Lifecare Innovations, Inc.
Martha Kern has served for almost 20 years, working directly with clients in a care management role and frequently speaks to groups about issues affecting seniors, the disabled and mentally ill. She has been instrumental in developing both the nonmedical caregiving and property services groups within Lifecare Innovations.
A large percentage of the care provided to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the U.S. is provided by family members, friends and other non-professional sources. It usually starts small and spirals into a larger and more involving enterprise, and sometimes the safety of the care receiver or care provider is compromised. Whether you are taking on the role of caregiver or looking for someone to provide this service to a family member, this presentation will outline the hazards to watch for and some simple precautions to protect all concerned.
A light dinner will be served.
