The Bluebird at Belmont Village

In celebration of serving Nashville seniors for 17 years, Belmont Village Green Hills partnered with Bluebird Cafe for an annual fundraising event benefiting the Vanderbilt Center fr Quality Aging, a nonprofit research organization for quality geriatric care.

Belmont Village and Bluebird presented some of Music Row’s most celebrated songwriters for the “Writers in the Round,”  cocktail reception and silent auction.

Featured songwriters Allen Shamblin, Aaron Barker and Karen Staley donated their time and talents for the event.

Auction items included a Nashville Predators gift pack including tickets, an Arrington Vineyards gift pack with wine, wine glasses and autographed items, and a bluebird gift package.

Everyone enjoyed a cocktail buffet offering barbecue sandwiches, a fruit and cheese display, southwest chicken eggrolls, artichoke dip, petit fours, and more.

The research conducted at the Vanderbilt Center for Quality Aging is to improve quality of care and quality of life for older adults in a variety of care settings.
