Joyce has more than 20 years of experience with specialties in therapeutic recreation, psychiatric rehabilitation, behavior management and dementia training.

Join us for an introduction to Circle of Friends, our pioneering comprehensive therapeutic program created to address the needs of those with Mild Cognitive Impairment. Belmont Village’s unique program encompasses a model of Whole Brain Fitness, an approach that is based on leading research in consultation with Vanderbilt University’s Center for Quality Aging. Memory care expert Joyce Mahoney will walk us through a typical day in the program, the research behind it, and more.
