Speaker: Maribeth Gallagher, DNP, FAAN
Dr. Gallagher is the director of Hospice of the Valley’s award-winning Dementia Program. Her work with Hospice of the Valley’s dementia program was awarded first place by the International Journal of Palliative Nursing in London. Her commitment to improving dementia care was initially inspired by her own experiences as a family caregiver, sharing the journey with her loved one with dementia from diagnosis to death.
