Our Founder’s Vision
After developing medical properties in the 1990s, Patricia Will sought care for her mother-in-law, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Frustrated by the gaps in clinical depth and accountability, she co-founded Belmont Village. Partnering with experts in gerontology and hospitality, it was a bold new vision for senior living that has since grown to more than 30 communities nationwide and one in Mexico City.
Holding Standards Higher, Today and Tomorrow
Belmont is guided by the highest operational and service standards. These principles are embraced by every employee, demonstrated daily, to deliver the experience our residents and their families deserve.
Our Purpose
We exist to make the experience of aging elevated, engaging and deeply human. This commitment guides how we design communities, deliver care and create opportunities for residents to think, move, connect and belong.
Our Values
Our seven core values define how we behave—with trust, ownership, teamwork, dignity, respect, integrity and learning. They establish expectations for accountability and professionalism across our workforce.
Structured Programs. Measurable Outcomes.
Through research-guided programs developed with academic partners like Vanderbilt University, Belmont has advanced early to late-stage memory care. With consistent engagement benchmarks and outcome tracking, these programs are designed not only to support but to actively maintain cognitive function.
Investing in Those Who Serve
Often promoting from within, Belmont provides structured training, mentorship and leadership pathways across clinical, operational and hospitality roles. By cultivating talent and encouraging advancement, we build teams with deep institutional knowledge and stability.
Research That Shapes Daily Life
Through partnerships with institutions including USC, UCLA, UC San Diego and Rice University, we integrate academic research into programming, brain health initiatives and staff education—ensuring that evidence informs our residents’ daily experiences.
Supporting Our Own
Established in 2008, BV Cares is a not-for-profit fund supporting Belmont employees and their families facing hardship. Activated during crises such as Hurricane Harvey, the California wildfires and the COVID-19 pandemic, we match donations dollar for dollar to support our family in times of need.
