At Belmont Village, we maintain procedures to address a range of health and safety scenarios, including infectious disease preparedness. These measures are informed by regulatory guidance and operational experience, supporting coordinated responses while maintaining continuity whenever possible.

Fall prevention begins with the physical environment and continues through monitoring and response. Design features, call systems and, in our Advanced Memory Care Neighborhoods, video-based fall detection help staff assess incidents accurately and respond appropriately when support is needed.

As part of maintaining overall safety readiness, Belmont Village plans for natural and environmental events, in design and practice. From fire safety standards to addressing regional risks like hurricanes, we employ systems and procedures to support residents before, during and after unexpected events.

Belmont Village team members receive training focused on safety procedures, emergency response and evacuation protocols. Ongoing prep helps ensure staff are ready to act calmly and effectively, supporting resident safety while maintaining a reassuring presence in everyday situations.

Clear communication is a critical part of safety at Belmont Village. Systems are in place to keep residents informed and to notify families when situations arise—providing transparency, reassurance and confidence that information will be shared promptly.

Each community is designed and built to high safety standards, including steel and concrete construction, sprinkler systems, alarms, generators and regionally appropriate features. Wide corridors, handrails, accessible seating transitions and thoughtful wayfinding help residents navigate shared and private spaces with confidence and ease.
