An Inspiration for Distinction

When Patricia Will founded Belmont Village in 1997, it was for love of family. A medical real estate developer, she sought a better place for her mother-in-law, who was in cognitive decline. Unable to find a community that met her high expectations, Will decided to create one herself. 

Texas Roots, Stellar Partnerships

Leveraging connections with the Texas Medical Center (TMC), Will partnered with Walt Mischer, former CEO of Houston’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, to build the very first Belmont Village community here in Texas. Since then, it has expanded its unique, research-based senior-living model nationwide.
