An Inspiration for Distinction

When Patricia Will founded Belmont Village in 1997, it was for love of family. A medical real estate developer, she sought a better place for her mother-in-law, who was in cognitive decline. Unable to find a community that met her high expectations, Will decided to create one herself.

Collaborating with California Hospitals and Universities

Understanding the value of partnerships in realizing her vision, Will opened Belmont Village Albany in 2017 in affiliation with UC Berkeley. This tradition of university and institutional collaboration pioneered a unique, research-based model for senior living that continues to redefine standards.
