Early Symptoms of Dementia

There are more than 80 types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Lewy Body, vascular dementia, and frontotemporal dementia, that manifest in different ways. Sometimes it can be hard to differentiate between stress, cognitive decline, and the normal aging process—especially in the early stages.

Some of the warning signs include:

  • Social withdrawal
  • Personality and behavior changes
  • Depression

  • Disorientation
