Earle and Margarita Parsons

Earle, a former running back with the San Francisco 49ers, used to drop by a friend’s modeling agency to meet girls. On one of those visits, he met Margarita, who became his bride in February of 1949. As a couple, they enjoyed entertaining in their home, and they were popular hosts – the mayor of San Francisco attended one of their Christmas parties. The secret to their long marriage? Earle says, “Without compatibility, love and companionship, you cannot exist.”
