Dr. Kumar was awarded her Doctorate from the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. A member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Dallas Optometric Society, Dr. Kumar is residency-trained in ocular disease, including refractive and glaucoma surgery. She stays up to date with the latest studies, treatments, and medical innovations in optometry.

Join us for an eye-opening seminar with a local optometrist! Dr. Wamika Kumar will discuss macular degeneration and dry eye pain and irritation, focusing on how they affect vision and the latest treatment options. She’ll also review if these treatments are covered by Medicare and commercial insurance.
