Belmont Village Executive Director Recognized with TALA Hero Award

Executive Director for Belmont Village West Lake Hills in Austin Bradley Howell recently received the 2020 Hero Award at Texas Assisted Living Association’s Heroes Virtual Award Ceremony on October 7. The award is given to an exceptional executive director who goes above and beyond and continuously shows a strong commitment to residents and their community.

Bradley began his career with Belmont Village in 2016 in our Executive Director in Training (EDIT) program, a comprehensive, year-long training to learn the role of an Executive Director. After completing the program with hands-on experience at Belmont Village Geneva Road and Belmont Village Turtle Creek, Bradley was promoted to Assistant Executive Director at Belmont Village Albany in 2017 where he helped open the new community. Then in 2018, he was promoted to Executive Director of Belmont Village West Lake Hills.

As the executive director of Belmont Village West Lake Hills, Bradley has done whatever is necessary to ensure that his community is operating at the highest possible level, whether that means rolling up his sleeves to pitch in or leading by example. He is always at the forefront, with extraordinary attention to detail and focus on resident care. Bradley also goes out of his way to ensure that his team feels empowered and trusted to do their jobs. He creates a collaborative atmosphere and truly values input from this team. As the pandemic unfolded, there was a lot of uncertainty. But, with all of the changes in policies and procedures, it didn’t stop Bradley from continuing to create a positive and supportive environment for employees and residents.

Congratulations to Bradley! We are honored and proud to have you lead our West Lake Hills community and grateful that you have chosen to grow your career with Belmont Village.
