When Steve Adolph, a Belmont Village Lincoln Park family member, found out that a local ice cream truck owner needed help, he and his family started a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to repair the truck. Belmont Village Lincoln Park also stepped in and provided a generous donation to support this local business. With Belmont Village Lincoln Park’s contribution, the campaign was able to reach the goal for a new generator. Now, Wilfredo’s ice cream truck will be coming to Belmont Village Lincoln Park on Thursday, October 15 to thank the community and host another fundraiser in the Lincoln Park neighborhood so he can continue serving $1 ice cream cones to the Chicago neighborhoods.
