Belmont Village Senior Living, a leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities across the U.S., is privileged to once again be certified as a Great Place to Work® by the Great Place to Work Institute and its senior care partner Activated Insights. The recurring recognition reflects Belmont Village’s deep commitment to cultivating an exceptional work environment that empowers team members and promotes quality care for residents and families.
Through a rigorous process, the Great Place to Work certification evaluates more than 60 components of team members’ workplace experience across Belmont Village’s more than 30 locations. Components surveyed included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling that their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter their job title or tenure with the company.
“At Belmont Village, our unwavering commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace is just as strong as our dedication to resident-centered care,” said Mercedes Kerr, President of Belmont Village Senior Living. “Being certified as a Great Place to Work® for the seventh time is a meaningful recognition of the culture we’ve built, one where every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered to make a difference every day.”
Survey results show employees consistently point to a culture of feeling valued, connected, and empowered at Belmont Village, with 88% of respondents saying they felt genuinely welcomed when they joined the company. A strong majority, 87%, feel their roles are more than just jobs, and that their contributions truly matter. Team members also highlighted their sense of purpose in their work, the celebration of milestones, and Belmont Village’s active role in giving back to the community. These high marks reflect a culture of support, belonging, and shared success.
“This recognition reinforces the idea that Belmont Village employees are the foundation of our success,” said James Arp, Executive Director of Belmont Village Senior Living La Jolla and a tenured employee. “From our caregivers to our culinary team, every employee plays a vital role in creating a supportive, engaging environment for residents and each other. When people feel valued, it elevates the entire community, making Belmont Village a special place.”
