Former Braves pitcher brings baseball history to Belmont Village Senior Living

The Alzheimer’s Association piloted it’s newest engagement program for senior living residents with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia called Major League Memories, at Belmont Village Buckhead on June 6. Retired Atlanta Braves player, Jim Nash lead the program for residents in the Circle of Friends program, designed specifically for those with mild to moderate memory loss. The program consisted of a variety of baseball-themed activities including reviewing baseball memorabilia and famous radio clips along with fun trivia questions to help trigger the senior’s memories.
