Grammy-nominated pianist David Benoit helps raise $3,500 at Belmont Village benefit for Alzheimer’s

More than 300 people attended last week’s private performance at the Belmont Village in Rancho Palos Verdes to benefit and bring awareness to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The concert was considered a huge success and raised more than $3,500. The featured musician was Grammy-nominated pianist and contemporary jazz musician David Benoit who joined violinist Gail Gerding-Mellert for a collaborative selection. Gering-Mellert owns and operates a private studio for aspiring violinists in the South Bay area.
