Belmont Village Pets Stories Gerry Breitbard and Tanner

Gerry Breitbart and Tanner

Belmont Village Westwood

“I wanted to adopt Tanner after seeing a photo of him on the Internet offered by a rescue organization in Northern California,” says Gerry. “At seventy-pounds, he was too strong for his existing family. I flew him from Portland to Los Angeles. One of the crewmembers told me that he was the best dog they had every seen as he did not make a sound during the whole flight.” Tanner is the fourth Old English Sheepdog that Gerry has owned and he is trained as a working companion dog. Tanner lives with Gerry’s family and visits Gerry regularly.
